Diary UI

ResDiary's UI was starting to look a little dated and cluttered with the regular additions of new features. We were also working on refreshing the UI and the user experience to make it easier to use and reduce cognitive load. In the interim we worked on consistency, building a design system going forward and bringing new fonts and icons that were present elsewhere to the Diary. 

Email System

As part of a larger Events Management System our team was tasked with creating a hub for all email communication with guests.

Menu Creation

There are many ways our users add their menus to ResDiary, JPEG, PNG, PDF and Word Documents but these were hard to maintain, could get out of control and didn't feed into any other part of their diners experience. We produced a Menu creation tool for our users to manage their Menus. These would be printable, linked to their website and available for Pre-ordering. 

 

Pre-ordering

Restaurants want to know who's coming, when are they coming and what are they having. ResDiary's reservation system had already covered the who and the when. To have an end to end system we started work on Pre-ordering. Restaurant's need diners to Pre-order for large parties, but could we make an experience that went further, would smaller groups of diners like to be able to choose their food before they arrive?
